Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the DeepInsight service. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

DeepInsight is an AI-assisted intake form platform. You create forms; your customers fill them in; an AI conducts a brief adaptive follow-up interview and produces a summary. The service is provided “as is”.

2. Your account

You must be 16 or older and provide accurate sign-up details. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. You may invite team members; you remain responsible for their actions.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to collect data unlawfully or without informed consent.
• Use the service to send unsolicited messages or spam.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Use the service to handle sensitive categories of data (health, biometric, government IDs) without our prior written consent.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of forms you create and data your respondents submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content as necessary to operate the service.

5. Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices are in AUD exclusive of GST; GST is added at checkout for Australian customers. You may cancel at any time from your billing dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are at our discretion.

6. Free tier

The free tier allows a fixed number of submissions across the lifetime of the account. It is provided in good faith and may be modified or removed with reasonable notice.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime of third-party providers (Anthropic, Stripe, AWS, etc.).

8. AI outputs

The follow-up questions and extractions are generated by an AI model. They may be imperfect or occasionally inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before acting on them. We make no warranty about the suitability of AI outputs for any specific decision.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law. You may delete your account at any time; on deletion we will purge your data within 30 days (subject to legal retention obligations).

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer guarantees you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes will be heard in the courts of New South Wales.
